A regular, both in our Mill Street Café and ready to bring to your home. A classic bourguignon, cooked long and slow with lots of red wine. Topped with a pate brisée pastry crust. One litre size feeds 3-4 and 500 mL size is plenty for two. Suggest a salad or side veg for a complete meal.
Ingredients: Certified organic grass fed beef from Sugar Hill Farms in Inverary, red wine, onions, mushrooms (may be a mix with shiitake), carrots, garlic, olive oil, flour and seasonings. Pastry topping: flour, butter, salt and water.
